description Aspen Group Campground is located alongside the scenic Jackson Meadow Reservoir in the Tahoe National Forest. Its location provides a great base camp for a wide range of recreational activities, including boating, fishing, hiking and hunting.
drivingDirection From Interstate 80, take the Highway 89 North exit. Travel north on Highway 89 for 17 miles to the Jackson Meadows turnoff. Travel west on Forest Road 07 for 18 miles. Group Campground just passed Pass Creek Campground.
facilitiesDescription This campground offers three group sites. The Spring site can accommodate up to 50 people, while the Hill and Ridge units can accommodate up to 25 people each. Campsites are equipped with picnic tables, grills and campfire circles. Vault toilets and drinking water are provided.

nearbyAttrctionDescription The Camp Store at Jackson Meadow is located on the west side of the reservoir, near the Woodcamp Recreation Area. A variety of camping and fishing supplies, ice, groceries and souvenirs are available.

orientationDescription Jackson Meadow Reservoir is situated in a rolling forested valley, where visitors are awarded beautiful views of the Sierra Crest and English Mountain. The campground lies on the northeastern shore, in a forest of pine and fir trees.
recreationDescription The lake offers excellent opportunities for boating, canoeing, water skiing, swimming and fishing. Anglers will find rainbow and brown trout. A boat ramp is located at the neighboring Pass Creek Campground. A designated swim beach is nearby. A portion of the Pacific Crest Trail meanders along the east side of the lake. Hunting and biking are popular activities in the surrounding area.
