description Catavee Campground is located on Huntington Lake near the Kaiser Wilderness. This campground offers convenient access to all the activities and events available around Huntington Lake, including the annual sailboat regatta. The campground is forested and provides good privacy at several of the sites. A few sites overlook Bear Creek, while others offer lake views.
drivingDirection From Clovis, California, take Highway 168 north for 70 miles to HuntingtonLake Campground Office at Eastwood.
facilitiesDescription This is a more modern campground with paved roads and paved parking spurs that can accommodate RVs up to 30 feet. Each site has a picnic table, grill and fire ring. Drinking water, a pay phone, flush toilets and accessible flush toilets are provided.

In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered as one vehicle for determining additional vehicle fees. The third and fourth motorcycle would also be considered as one vehicle. No additional vehicle fees are collected for bicycles. recreationDescription There are many hiking trails in the area, including Rancheria Falls, Indian Pools and Black Point. Hikers and horseback riders can access the 12-mile Kaiser Loop Trail, which connects to a network of trails within the Kaiser Wilderness. Huntington Lake offers many activities, including swimming, sailing, boating, non-motorized boating, fishing and water skiing. Additionally, California Land Management sponsors a variety of interpretive programs and nature walks throughout the summer at several locations in the Huntington Lake area.
