Catavee Campground is located on Huntington Lake near the Kaiser Wilderness. This campground offers convenient access to all the activities and events available around Huntington Lake, including the annual sailboat regatta. The campground is forested and provides good privacy at several of the sites. A few sites overlook Bear Creek, while others offer lake views. |

Please register at Eastwood Visitor Center prior to going to campground Maximum vehicle length is 30 feet No showers or RV Hookups Bears frequent the area; please store food in bear-proof containers In accordance with standard industry practices, Sierra Recreation will be assessing a $7 additional vehicle fee per day on the second vehicle in each single family campsite, and on the third and fourth vehicle in any double family campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the first vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site. In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered as one vehicle for determining additional vehicle fees. The third and fourth motorcycle would also be considered as one vehicle. No additional vehicle fees are collected for bicycles. There are many hiking trails in the area, including Rancheria Falls, Indian Pools and Black Point. Hikers and horseback riders can access the 12-mile Kaiser Loop Trail, which connects to a network of trails within the Kaiser Wilderness. Huntington Lake offers many activities, including swimming, sailing, boating, non-motorized boating, fishing and water skiing. Additionally, California Land Management sponsors a variety of interpretive programs and nature walks throughout the summer at several locations in the Huntington Lake area. |
