importantInformation Six people per site including children Additional $2/day fee will be charged for stays on Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day weekends In accordance with standard industry practices, Sequoia Recreation will be assessing a $7 additional vehicle fee per night on the second vehicle in each single family campsite, and on the third and fourth vehicle in any double family campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the first vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site. In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered to be one vehicle and the third and fourth are also considered to be one vehicle. No additional vehicle fees are collected for bicycles. No hookups available No off-road vehicle use allowed in the campground Due to the spread of invasive insects, firewood from outside the area is notpermitted. Help protect our forests by purchasing or collecting firewood ator near your camping destination and burning it on-site. <a href="http://dontmovefirewood.org/" target="_blank">Click here for moreinformation. This facility is operated by Sequoia Recreation, a division of California Land Management and comments are welcome; comment forms are available from campground hosts or online. Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed. orientationDescription The campground is situated on a pine-covered hillside, 3 miles from Lake Isabella&#39;s western shores at an elevation of 2,640 feet. Many sites have views of Lake Isabella off in the distance. Sequoia National Forest, located at the southern end of the Sierra Nevada in central California, is named for the giant sequoia, the world&#39;s largest tree, which grows in more than 30 groves on the forest&#39;s lower slopes. The forest comprises about 1.1 million acres. Elevations range from about 1,000 to 12,000 feet, creating precipitous canyons and mountain streams with spectacular waterfalls such as Salmon Creek Falls and Grizzly Falls.
recreationDescription Visitors enjoy fishing, swimming, water skiiing and windsurfing at Lake Isabella, which covers 11,000+ acres on the Kern River and has over 38 miles of shoreline. Anglers will find black and white crappie, bluegill, blue and channel catfish, largemouth bass and rainbow trout. Trout fishing is also available in area streams.
