The Yosemite Valley is in the heart of Yosemite National Park and draws thousands of visitors each summer for its awe-inspiring landscape of waterfalls, sheer granite cliffs, deep valleys, grand meadows, ancient giant sequoias, vast wilderness area and much more. On summer weekends and holidays, parking may be extremely limited. Non-reservable first-come, first-served parking spots may also be available at this location. However, the parking lot regularly fills during summer weekends and holidays. In 2016, Yosemite National Park will offer parking space reservations at Yosemite Falls Day Use Parking Area as part of a pilot program to reduce congestion in Yosemite Valley. Visitors may reserve parking spaces for day use activities for the weekend of June 25-26 and July 2-4 2016. |

Lot Location and Shuttles. Yosemite Falls Day Use Parking is located just west of Yosemite Valley Lodge, directly next to shuttle bus stop #7. From this lot, shuttles regularly depart for all Yosemite Valley destinations including the visitor center, museum, walking and hiking trailheads, picnic areas, tour desks, restaurants, stores and campgrounds. Vehicle Size. The reservation allows parking for one passenger or recreational vehicle. Arrival Time. Reservation holders must occupy a parking space between 7:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time or forfeit the reservation. Arrivals before 7:30 a.m. can park in any available non-reservable parking space. Departure Time. Cars must depart the parking lot no later than midnight. Departing from a parking spot at any time during the day terminates the reservation. Maximum reservations. Customers are limited to one parking reservation per transaction. Fees. Parking is free.
