description Cultus Lake is one of the most popular of the high Cascade Lakes because it is one of the few that allows high speed motorized water craft. This campground offers opportunities for waterskiing, windsurfing, swimming, sailing, and jet skiing on the lake as well as access to trails that lead north into the Three Sisters Wilderness.
drivingDirection From Bend, OR: Travel 46 miles southwest on Cascade Lakes Hwy (46), then west on Forest Road 4635 for 2 miles.
facilitiesDescription This campground has 55 sites that are tent, trailer or RV friendly and many are right on the water. Most of the sites are well shaded so this is a great place to cool off during the heat of the summer. While RV use is normal here, the sites are not very conducive to large luxury coaches and most sites are recommended for 30 foot RVs or less, in part because the roads are gravel and rutted and not ideal for large RVs. This facility has vault toilets. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and a fire pit with a grill.
