description Tumalo State Park is located on the Deschutes River approximately 4 miles NW of Bend. The campground consists of 23 full hook-up and 54 tent sites, 7 yurts and a hiker/biker area. Flush toilets and showers are available. All of the campsites (with the exception of the hiker/biker sites) can be reserved one day in advance. Please note the following: Tumalo Falls is not located near, or operated by, Tumalo State Park. Tumalo Falls is a US Forest Service property. If you would like more information about Tumalo Falls, please contact the Bend/Fort Rock Ranger Station of the US Forest Service at 541-383-5300. Only Oregon State Park issued daily, 12 month and 24 month parking permits are accepted for day-use parking. We do not accept Northwest Forest Passes, Snow Park Passes, Golden Age Cards or Golden Eagle Cards for day-use parking.
drivingDirection Directions to Tumalo State Park From the west: Follow Hwy 20 east of Sisters approx. 15 miles. Watch for hwy signs at Tumalo Junction. Turn right onto OB Riley Rd. and continue 1 mile to park. The campground will be on your left. From the north: Follow Hwy 97 south of Redmond, approx. 10 miles. Watch for hwy signs at Deschutes Mkt. Tumalo Rd. exit. Turn right on Tumalo Rd and continue 4 miles into Tumalo. Turn left onto Cline Falls Hwy and follow signs to Hwy 20; cross Hwy 20 and continue 1 mile to park on OB Riley Rd. The campground will be on your left. From the south: Follow Hwy 97 north thru Bend. Go west on Hwy 20 toward Sisters 5 miles and watch for Hwy signs to Tumalo. Turn left at Tumalo Junction onto OB Riley Rd. and continue 1 mile to park. The campground will be on your left. From the east: Follow Hwy 20 into Bend until it intersects with Business Hwy 97 (also known as 3rd St) at the light. Turn right and follow follow Hwy 97 through town, exiting on Hwy 20 west heading towards Sisters, about 5 miles. Turn left at Tumalo Juntion onto OB Riley Rd. and continue 1 mile to park. The campground will be on your left.

importantInformation Only one vehicle is included with standard camp fees. A second vehicle kept at a campsite (or alternate parking area) is subject to a nightly Extra Vehicle fee. The nightly Extra Vehicle fee is currently $7.00. Tumalo State Park is located on the Deschutes River approximately 4 miles NW of Bend. There is an $8 reservation fee per site reserved. An $8 transaction fee is charged for any date or site changes made to an existing reservation. *Reservations for more than five nights/days that are later changed to fewer nights/days by cancelling nights at the end of the stay will only pay an $8 transaction fee. Please be aware that only the person whose name is on the reservation, their designee or the primary occupant may access, change or cancel the reservation. Reservations can be made 24 hours a day, from 1 day to 9 months in advance. Internet reservations become available at midnight. Call center reservations are available Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm at 800-452-5687.
