Nestled between the south end of a scenic glacial lake and the towering peaks of the Wallowa Mountains, Wallowa Lake State Recreation Area is ideally positioned as a base camp for both wilderness treks and water sports fun. facilitiesDescription In the overnight area, the Park offers 121 hookup sites (including 2 ADA sites), 88 non-hookup sites, 2 hard-sided rustic yurts, 3 group tent areas and a hiker-biker area. Also restrooms/showers, RV dump station, firewood. All campsites have a picnic table and fire pit. Our day use areas consist of 3 reservable picnic sites, 1 reservable covered shelter named Ice Creek, a marina that has reservable boat slips and supplies. Boat reservations and information are available at www.wallowalakemarina.com. Interpretive programs are available throughout the summer from Memorial Day - Labor Day weekend. Before reserving a site, please note the site parking length and tent area size. Will this site accommodate my equipment? Will my truck and trailer or motorhome and tow fit on the pavement within the sites parking boundaries? Site specific alerts and information can be found by clicking on the site name then scrolling to the bottom of the Reserve America website page. Site Availability - November through mid-May: The Park has 2 Yurts, 5 hookup sites with electrical and sewer, and 4 day use areas open and reservable during this time of season. The Park will also offer other hookups and non-hookups on a first-come-first serve basis. These sites will be plowed of snow for easier access during the winter. Site availability for the 2016 season will be: A and D Loops will be open mid-May through October 31. E Loop will be open mid-May through September 30. B Loop will be open mid-May through August 14th, then closed August 15th through June 30, 2017. C Loop will be open mid-May through August 14th, then closed August 15th through June 30, 2017. Construction of 2 new restroom buildings in the C loop of the campground will begin August 15, 2016 and last through July 1, 2017.

importantInformation The person reserving sites and listed on the registration is responsible for the activities of all users of their site(s). Yurts are ADA accessible. If you reserve a yurt, please look for your access combination in the Security Alerts section of your confirmation letter. Pets are not allowed in the Wallowa Lake State Park Yurts. Only one vehicle is included with camping fees. A second vehicle is subject to a nightly Extra Vehicle fee. The nightly Extra Vehicle fee is currently $7.00. Facilities- Seasonally October 1 through mid-May: Water will be shut off to water spigots in sites, day use areas, facilities and buildings. A designated heated building with restrooms/showers will be available. Water will be available at the D17 frost-free spigot. Day use areas are reservable but may not have water or restrooms available. Dump Station may be closed. There are dump stations available on Hurricane Creek Road in Joseph, Oregon across from the rodeo grounds at the fire station and in Enterprise, Oregon at Pacific Pride on Golf Course Road behind the Safeway store. Boat Launch ramp may not be accessible. There is an $8 reservation fee per site reserved. An $8 transaction fee is charged for any date or site changes made to an existing reservation. *Reservations for more than five nights/days that are later changed to fewer nights/days by cancelling nights at the end of the stay will only pay an $8 transaction fee. Please be aware that only the person whose name is on the reservation, their designee or the primary occupant may access, change or cancel the reservation. Reservations can be made 24 hours a day, from 1 day to 9 months in advance. Internet reservations become available at midnight.
