This recreation area is centered around the Hansen Flood Control Basin. Although the Army Corps of Engineers owns this land the City of Los Angeles manages the many day-use facilities that are available here. This park boasts many activities including golf and riding stables.
There are some paved trails that run through this park. A playground and picnic area are perfect stops for your walk around the park.
