Hastain Trail can be accessed from the Southern part of the park nearby the Ranch Amphitheatre. This will begin with a steep climb to the summit overlook and then a gradual decent back towards the middle of the park. After about 3 miles in this direction, the trail meets up with Lake Drive which can be followed back to the trailhead. Alternatively, you can start the trail at this intersection and follow the trail in that direction.<br />
This trail is partially shaded and crosses several slate and granite formations. There are lookouts with views of the park, Beverly Hills and, on a clear day, the ocean.
Located in Franklin Canyon Park. Can be accessed from the North by taking Franklin Canyon Drive South from Mulholland Drive. Or from the South by taking Beverly Drive North from Beverly Hills and staying on Bevery Drive when it splits from Colwater Canyon Drive.
