Located about 30 minutes from San Diego, Ramona Grasslands Preserve is open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (fall and winter), and 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. (summer). The preserve is a total of 3, 521 acres, and there is currently a four-mile loop trail that runs through 480 acres of the western portion of the park.
The loop is shared by bikers and horseback riders, so be on the lookout.
