This Appalachian trail hike goes from GA Hwy 348 (Tesnatee Gap) to GA Hwy 75 (Unicoi Gap). Shelters along the route include Low Gap Shelter and Blue Mountain Shelter. The trail also climbs or passes Horsetrough Mountain and Blue Mountain.<br />

From Helen take GA 75 south to GA Highway 348 (Richard B. Russell Scenic Highway). Trail crosses GA 348.
