Section 6 of the AT begins at Unicoi Gap on GA Hwy 75. It runs 16 miles to Dicks Creek Gap. Along the way, the trail runs past Rocky Mountain, Tray Mountain, Tray Mountain Shelter, Young Lick, Roundtop, Double Spring Mountain, and Deep Gap Shelter.<br />

From Clayton take US Hwy 76 West approximately 10 miles to trail crossing.
