The Benton MacKaye follows the Wilscot Mountain Range on this section, and it crosses two peaks: Tipton Mountain and Brawley Mountain. The half-mile of trail leading to (or from, depending on the direction you're hiking) Shallowford Bridge follows a gravel county road. <br />
