HIKING: Bull / Jake Mountain

Triple Blaze →

Description

This is a beautiful trail in the North Georgia mountains that passes historic items back in the forest such as an old, rusting pickup and old cabins. This trail goes through some cool rhododendron tunnels, crosses some gorgeous creeks, and generally provides awesome access to the beautiful Chattahoochee National Forest.

There is significant horse and mountain bike traffic on this trail, though, so it isn't very ideal for hiking. The Appalachian Trail is just up on top of the ridge, though, and it is hiking-only!
