This trail starts off connected to the Approach trail, but soon splits off and takes its own path to the Hike Inn Lodge. You will need reservations if you wish to stay at the Hike Inn, but no reservations are needed to hike the trail! It's five miles of moderate climbs and hills that crosses a couple of streams and bridges. It's a beautiful hike, but doesn't offer views until you get to the lodge!
Park at the top of Amicalola Falls and follow signs for the Hike Inn trail.
