This is a gorgeous hiking trail through the deep forest of the Cohutta Mountains. Some of these trees are huge!
The Pinhoti is a 130 mile hiking/biking trail that begins in Alabama and ends at the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail. For this section it's recommended to use Mulberry Gap as a base camp and ride out-and-back from there, perhaps combining with Bear Creek or other Pinhoti Sections.
