This is a beautiful trail that follows the Cartecay River for several miles. It can be steep in spots, but the views of the river and the deep forest are well worth it!
From Ellijay take GA 52 east for 3.2 miles. Turn right on Mulkey Rd. Go for .4 miles and turn right into the Rich Mountain WMA Cartecay Tact. Park at the gate.
