The majority of these trail is rocky doubletrack that coincides with an ORV trail. Parts of this trail do pass through some gorgeous woodlands, though, and there are excellent views at the Cohutta Overlook nearby!
From Ellijay, take GA 52 west for 12 miles until you reach the Cohutta overlook <br /><br />on your right. Park there. The Tatum Lead-Pinhoti will be on the south side of <br /><br />GA 52 about 1/2mile west of the overlook.
