The AT runs 18.1 miles from the Connecticut River (VT/NH state line) to the Dartmouth Skiway. Along the way it passes the city of Hanover, the Velvet Rocks shelter, Trescot Road, Etna Hanover Center Road, Three Mile Road, the Moose Mountain shelter, Goose Pond Road, Holt's Ledge, and the Trapper John shelter.<br />
