These hiking/biking trails are on the private property of the Effertz family, who run Black Butte Adventures. Do not enter the property if the gate is closed. A box for donations is at the second gate. If you follow the road past that gate (on foot or on a bicycle), a meandering singletrack path winds through the property.
From Dakota Avenue and 1st Street in Sawyer head north on Dakota Avenue for 1.4 miles. At the T-intersection at the cemetery turn right onto 121st Ave SE. Travel east on 121st Ave for 1.5 miles. Turn right into the small parking lot on the right hand side.
