MOUNTAIN BIKING: Jughandle Ecological Trail- East Fork

Single Tracks →

Description

This trail is one the more techy ones around. Large roots, stairs and a few tight switchbacks leading out from a downhill streach can spell disaster if your not too carfull. After about 3 Miles, the trail emptys out into a 4X4 road system, but still very fun. The scenery is beautiful in the Pigyme forrest, and the occasional Dirtbiker or ATV\'in dude shouldnt be too much of a bother.

As an alternate route, take the west fork (right fork) for a fast, quick (1 mile at most) detour.

Directions

From Fort Bragg:

Drive south on Hwy 1 Untill you reach gibney lane. Take Gibney all the way to the fork and stay to your right. The trailhead is unmarked by a large house on the right.

From Mendo:

Take Hwy 1 North to gibney Lane. same after that.
