MOUNTAIN BIKING: Crested Butte Mountain Resort

Single Tracks →

Description

Evolution Bike Park at Crested Butte Mountain Resort “has over 25 miles of
downhill and cross country mountain bike trails, a skills zone, dual slalom
course, and numerous natural and man-made obstacles.” A number of the trails
on the mountain are multi-use trails for biking, hiking, and horseback riding
and are of a more cross-country disposition.

6 of the trails, however, are dedicated and designed solely for downhill mountain
biking! They range in difficulty from beginner all the way up to expert (green
circle to double black diamond). The bike park here at Mount Crested Butte is
relatively new, with these downhill-specific trails having only been constructed
since 2008. Consequently, new trails are seemingly always under construction
at Mount Crested Butte, so expect this paragraph to go out of date (in a good
way) quickly!

Be sure to read the individual trail descriptions for even more information!
