The Monarch Spur Trail is a 2.5-mile (one-way) paved bike path that runs from downtown Salida, through the center of town, all the way out to the Walmart. While pretty unremarkable as far as riding goes, this trail is great for getting around, offers up some cool views, and can be used to connect to some mountain bike trails.
Start from Absolute Bikes, or some other point in downtown Salida.
