Updated 1/8/15:
The Allatoona Creek Park Mountain Bike Trail System currently includes 18 miles of fun trails. Riding difficulty levels range between beginner (Rusty Bucket), and advanced (Voodoo, Whipper Snapper). Plans are underway to add 10 more miles of trail in the next few years.
Riding direction changes daily. Please check signs at each trailhead. Trail may close due to wet conditions. Please visit www.imba-westga.org for trail status.
Trail is open sunrise to sunset EXCEPT for the following months due to hunting season:
September / October - Trail opens at 10:00 am
November / December - Trail is closed - HUNTERS ONLY
January - Trail opens at 10:00 am
From Atlanta, head north on I-75 and get off at exit 267B toward Marietta. Make a right on Cobb Parkway/Ga 3 and head north for approximately 9.5 miles. Make a left on Mars Hill Rd. Continue 1.5 miles until you make a right on County Line Rd/Old Stilesboro Rd. After about 0.2 miles, turn right into the parking area off of Old Stilesboro Road. This parking area is the most central to all trails in this system.
