Amazing ride. Easy to follow. Three sections. First section starts across from the parking area. Follow the signs and it is impossible to get lost. Have an awesome ride.
From Loop 10, take hwy 78 Lexington exit turn east (away from athens). Follow 78 into oglethorpe county. Turn left onto Yancey road, right after a church on a hill. Follow yancey road until it ends. Turn left onto hargrove lake road. Follow for a couple of miles and you will see a sign for Hawkes Creek Farm. Park immidiatley on the left and the trail begins across the road.
