MOUNTAIN BIKING: Silver Comet Mtb Side Trails

Single Tracks →

Description

Nicely developed, legal singletrack: maintained by Paulding SORBA. I would call it intermediate as far as technical aspects go. The trail is nothing like the Comet, it is dirt, rock, root, curves, climbs and trees. There are a couple sections that shoot off away from the SCT which have some nice climbs, if you miss the turn you'll know it because you'll now be hike-a-biking instead of mountainbiking. The trails are marked well, anywhere you see a blue arrow or blue marking on the south side of the SCT, marks the entrance or exit to one of these sections of trails. When ridden in succession, one way, you get about 8 - 9 miles of fun singletrack, then you have the option to ride the offroad trail back or if your legs are finished, you can cruise back on the Silver Comet. Check it out!

Directions

Can pick up these trails anywhere along the south side of the Silver Comet from the Trestle all the way to the Hiram parking lot. (which is about 9 miles of singletrack one way).
