This is a singletrack that is an unmaintained hiking trail to give you a feel of old time mountain biking. The trail is marked with blue paint on the tree so watch for them until you are familiar with the trail. ; You will head across the front of the Y, You will come to a parking lot that you will need to ride through. (Markers will reappear at the the end of the lot.) The trail heads down the hill toward the boat launch. Cross the wood bridge up the hill to some nice single track. Watch out for a number of downed trees. The trail will lead you to Rose Creek that will need to be crossed. At the creek, ride along the edge of the creek to find the shallowest crossing. The trail will continue to the left up the hill to the end of the penisula. The trail will continue up the hill as it outlines the peninsula. At the top of the hill you will begin a pretty gnarly descent with a hard left at the bottom to hit return trail. Follow that same trail back to the parking lot.
North of Towne Lake on Bells Ferry. Turn right on E. Bells Ferry toward the Outdoor YMCA. Park at the playground on the right. The Trialhead is up the road toward the YMCA. Watch for the blue marks on the left to begin trail.
