Trail is a little over 1 mile uphill. Recommended route up to access the larger <br />
Horseshoe canyon trail system. Makes a nice downhill with twists. Gets its <br />
name from the deep ruts made from cows. Combine with Southbound trail or <br />
continue on jeep track to top of Bovine for a nice loop.
At the stoplight in Driggs head west. When the road curves south continue <br /><br />straight. The main road will curve north and then west again heading into <br /><br />Horseshoe Canyon. After you cross the forest service boundary (second <br /><br />cattle guard) trail head is .4 miles on the right. Parking pullout is a little farther <br /><br />on the left or on the right.
