Single Tracks →

Description

To access the trail, hikers can begin at the trailhead in the Lake Fork dispersed camping area, or ford the river at the Lake Fork Campground. The trail is rolling with little elevation gain for the first few miles. There are huckleberries along the trail, interesting rocks to climb, and a few hidden fishing spots - a great place to introduce the kids to hiking. The #104 trail climbs steeply before Maki Lake, and hikers can continue down the Snowslide Trail to Lick Creek Road or take the Maki Lake Trail #135 loop. This is a popular horse riding trail, and can be used for mountain biking but there are places where you may have to carry your bike through the rocks. The trail is open for the following uses: Horseback Riding, Mountain Biking, Hiking<br />
