MOUNTAIN BIKING: Tapatio Springs

Single Tracks →

Description

This trail will kick your (well, you know)! NORBA has a race here once a year. It is a really big event. This trail is tough from start to finish. The elevation is unbelievable! I didn't think the Hill Country meant HILLS! If you don't believe me, check out the map (at the link I supplied, if it works right). This is a very good test of your cardio fitness. Good luck to you and your heart because Tapatio Springs will break both! Awesome riding though and TOUGH climbs.

Directions

Take IH-10 West to the Johns Road Exit - Mile marker #539 (about 15 miles from Loop 1604). Take a left on Johns Road (over the highway) and continue on for approximately 4 miles. Watch closely for deer crossing the road. <br />Turn right on Wild Turkey and then left on Blue Heron. Follow Blue Heron into Tapatio Springs
